이사야 38-44절 말씀 묵상

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.(이사야 40장 29-31절)

하나님은 약한 자들에게, 그냥 약한 자들이 아니라 약한 상태에서도 하나님께만 희망을 두는 자들에게 힘을주신다. 하나님을 붙들어야 한단 건 여기에서 아마도 하나님만 붙든단 의미일 것이다. 하나님만, 하나님만 붙드는 훈련이 되어 있어야 한다. 

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. But those who trust in idols, who say to images, 'You are our gods,' will be turned back in utter shame.(이사야 42장 16-17절)

하나님께서 붙들고 인도하시는 길은 우리가 이해하지 못하는, 알지도 못하는, 어쩌면 상상도 하지 못하는 길일 확률이 매우 높다. 우리는 그럼에도 불구하고, 한치 앞도 보이지 않아도 하나님을 신뢰하고 따라가야 한다. 하나님은 우리에게 그러할 것을 요구하신다... 우리는 그러해야만 한다. 모르겠어도, 모르겠는 상태에서 하나님을 따라 가는 것. 순종하며 가는 것. 그게 우리 삶의  방식이어야 한다. 

But now, this is what the LORD says-he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth- everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.' (이사야 43장 1-7절)

이 말씀을 읽으면서 눈물이 그렁거렸다. 하나님에 대한  사랑에 눈물이 그렁거렸다.  감동해서... 이부분에 대해서는 뭐라고 묵상하는 내용을 길게 쓰지못하겠다. 앞으로 힘들고 지칠 때마다 그저 이 말씀을  읽어야겠다...
