예레미야 4-6장 말씀 묵상

'Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes......'Yet even in those days,' declares the LORD, 'I will not destroy you completely. And when the people ask, 'Why has the LORD our God done all this to us?' you will tell them, 'As you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your own land, so now you will serve foreigners in a land not your own.'(예레미야 5장 7, 18-19절)

인간은 언제나 자신이 한 짓은 생각하지 않고, 하나님께서 본인에게 주시지 않은 것에 대해 불평, 불만을 터뜨린다. 우린 진지하게, 우리가 어떤 삶을 살고 있는지를 돌아볼 수 있어야 하고, 돌아보고 나서 그 모습이 성경적인 기준에 비춰봤을 때 어떤지를 알 수 있어야 한다. 여기에서 핵심은 [성경적인 것]에 있다. 무엇이 성경적인지는 최소한 알고 살아야 한단 것이다.
