이사야서 10-12장 말씀 묵상

The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him-the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD - and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. (이사야서 11장 2-4절)

우리는 우리 눈에 보이는 것들로 사람들을 판단한다. 하지만 하나님을 판단하는 것은 우리의 행위가 아니라 마음을 기준으로 한다. 그리고 성경은 항상 약한자, 낮은자에 초점을 맞추고 있는데, 이는 그들이 이 세상에서 자신의 목소리를 낼 수 없기 때문일 것이다. 기독교인이라면 이땅에서 낮은자, 힘든자들을 위해 목소리를 내고 초점을 맞춰야 하는 것은 이 때문이다. 하나님 앞에 모든 자들은 평등하기 때문에, 모든 사람들의 목소리를 똑같이 들리게 하도록 하기 위해서. 그게, 성경이 말하는 정의가 아닐까.
