역대하 21-28장 말씀 묵상

Some time later Joash decided to restore the temple of the LORD...After the death of Jehoiada, the officials of Judah came and paid homage to the king, and he listened to them. They abandoned the temple of the LORD, the God of their fathers, and worshiped Asherah poles and idols. Because of their guilt, God's anger came upon Judah and Jerusalem. (역대하 24장 17-18절)

역대하에서 왕들이 하나님께 나갔다가, 다음 왕은 또 하나님을 잊고 떠나는 패턴을 보면서 마치 우리 삶과 비슷하단 생각이 들었다. 하나님께 나오고, 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 것을 할 때도 있지만, 곧 하나님을 다시 떠나기도 하는. 그러기를 반복하는 우리의 모습이 떠올랐다. 그리고 몇 왕이 연달아 하나님을 떠나 있으면. 우리 가운데, 때로는 내가 하나님을 붙들지 않고 하나님께로부터 상당기간동안 떨어져 있었던 시간들이 떠올랐다. 그냥. 많은 생각이 그렇게 들었다.
