On hearing this, Jesus said to them, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.' (마가복음 2장 16-17절) 하나님은 아픈 사람들과 함께 하셨다. 그리고 아픈 사람들과 함께 하기 위해 이 땅에 오신 것이라 .. 마태복음 27-28장 말씀 묵상 "I have sinned," he said, "for I have betrayed innocent blood." "What is that to us?" they replied. "That's your responsibility." So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. (마태복음 27장 4-5절) 유다는 괴로움에 극단적인 선택을 한다. 자신의 죄, 잘못을 깨닫고. 하나님이 기뻐하시는 모습이었을까? 그가 살았다면 어땠을까? 그는 공동체에서 손가락질을 받을 것이라 생각했을 것이다. 그랬을까? 인간의 기준이라면 그랬을 것이다. 하지만 초대교회의 분위기, 그 안에서 일어난 일들을 보면 초기에.. 마태복음 25-26장 말씀 묵상 마태복음 25장 마태복음 25장에서 묵상할 구절을 한 두개 뽑긴 어렵다. 25장은 초를 든 여인들의 비유, 달란트를 종들에게 주고 돌려온 후에 대한 비유가 있기 때문이다. 이 부분은 비유 자체의 의미를 묵상해야지 말씀을 편집해서 묵상하기는 힘들다. 다만 핵심은 이 구절에 있는 듯하다. "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' (마태복음 25장 40절) 말씀 중에 결국 핵심은 이 부분이 아닐까? 25장은 우리가 항상, 매순간마다 하나님 안에 거하기 위한 노력을 해야 한다는 것을 강조하고 있다. 우리가 어떤 것을 갖고 있거나.. 마태복음 22-24장 말씀 묵상 'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?' Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.' (마태복음 19장 8-9절) 이혼과 관련된 이 부분에서 눈에 띄는 것은 이혼에 대한 언급에서 여자가 남자에게 이혼을 통보하는 것에 대한 내용이 없단 것이다. 이는 당시 이스라엘에서는 여자가 남자에게 먼저 이혼을 통보하는 것이 상상조차 되지 않는 일이.. 마태복음 16-18장 말씀 묵상 Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. (마태복음 16장 12절) 예수님께서 오셨을 때 사두개인과 바리새인들에 해당하는 건 지금의 목회자들과 마찬가지일 것이다. 당시에 사두개인들과 바리새인들의 입장에서 이 얘기는 어떻게 들렸을까? 지금 예수님께서 이 땅에 오신다면 목회자들에 대해서 뭐라고 하실까? 여러 생각이 든다. 매우 많은 생각이 든다. 예수님께서 말씀해주셨던 것에 비하면 우리는 목회자들을 과도하게 신뢰하고 있는 것은 아닐까? 개신교에서 목회자들이 엇나가는 사람들이 나오는 것은.. 마태복음 13-15장 말씀 묵상 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: 'A farmer went out to sow his seed.
