(이사야 1장 9절) 우리는 뭔가 우리 마음에 들지 않는 일이 일어나거나 우리가 힘들어지면 하나님을 원망한다. 하나님이 왜 이렇게 하시는지를 따진다. 그런데 우리는 그러기 전에, 우리의 모습을 돌아봐야 한다. 우린 과연 어떻게 살고 있나? 하나님께서 보시기에, 하나님 시선에서 우리는 어떻게 살고 있나? 성경에서 이스라엘을 벌하는 하나님의 모습을 보면서 하나님께서 너무 하신다고 하는 사람이 있는데, 그래서 그런 신은 믿지 못하겠다고 하는데, 우리는 그 전에 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님께 어떻게 했는.. 아가 1-8장 말씀 묵상 I belong to my lover, and his desire is for me. (아가 7장 10-11절) 우리는 너무 쉽게 하나님의 사랑을 말한다. 그렇게 사랑을 말하지만 또 하나님과 둘만의 시간을 갖고 하나님께 나가는 시간은 잘 갖지 않는다. 이 얼마나 이기적이고 모순된 모습인가? 그러면서 어떻게 하나님을 알 수 있단 말인가? 우리가 하나님을 사랑한다면, 최소한 하나님과 1대1로 만나는 시간을 가져야 한다. 아니, 갖게 될 수밖에 없다. 사랑한다며 ?!?! 사랑하면 보고 싶은게 당연한 것 아닌가...사랑하는데 어떻게 하나님과의 시간을 갖지 않을.. 전도서 7-12장 말씀 묵상 It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart. (전도서 7장 2절) 우리는 모두 언젠간 죽는다. 이 세상을 떠나게 되어있다. 우리는 그 사실을 가끔이라고 하기엔 너무 자주 잊어버리고 산다. 그걸 기억하면 사실 우리들의 의사결정은 꽤나 많이 달라질 수밖에 없다. 우리가 항상 죽음을 기억해야 하는, 우린 결국 이 땅을 떠나게 되어있단 것을 기억해야 하는 것은 이 때문이다.
